All teams shall be composed of three to four participants.
The case will be in English only, however a team may choose to present in English and/or French.
Each team will have (4) hours to analyze the case and prepare their presentation. They will be assigned a room for the preparation. A computer with no Internet access, a USB key, pens, and paper will be provided to each team
Any participant leaving the room before the end of the allotted time will be disqualified. The participant may leave the room when accompanied by a volunteer.
The organizing committee cannot be held responsible for the technical problems that may arise during the resolution or during presentations. Any setbacks will be deducted from the time allocated to the team for the presentation.
Presentations will be saved in PowerPoint format (.ppt), without distinctive artwork that can be linked to the identity of the students’ university.
No personal effects will be tolerated in the preparation rooms. Thus, cell phones, pagers, books, course notes and internet access will be prohibited.
Possession of one or more objects mentioned above in the room in question will lead the team to an automatic disqualification at the discretion of the event coordinator.
Each team will have a strictly enforced maximum of 20 minutes to make its presentation followed by a 5 minute question and answer period with the Judges’ panel. A warning will be lifted by the academic coordinator, 1 minute before the end of time devoted to the presentation. Then another warning will be shown at the end of regulation time, to indicate the end of the presentation.
The team’s performance will be evaluated according to the Evaluation grid for a total of 100 points.
